Who can join?
Investors (funds, angels, family offices, corporate VCs), sports-tech startups, and athletes at any level from youth to pro. Every application is reviewed by the STA team, and membership is by approval only.
Is it really free?
Yes, for the first approved members, for life. After that, membership is . The fee is for access to the platform only. STA doesn't take a cut of any deal between members.
Who sees my pitch deck?
Only approved, active members. Decks and overviews are never public, never indexed by search engines, and can't be opened from a shared link by anyone outside the network.
How do members connect?
Request a connection with a short note. If the other member accepts, you can message each other directly on the platform. You can also ask STA for a warm introduction.
Can athletes under 18 join?
Yes, with a parent or guardian. We'll need their name and email, and they must approve the membership and co-sign any agreement.
When does the platform open?
We're onboarding founding members now. Approved members get access as soon as the platform launches, and we'll email you the moment it does.
